Learning to Drive Manual - 6 Months In

If you're anything like me you're thinking, "Gosh Kat, six months in? I thought for sure you'd be driving by now..." Me too, dear friend, meeeee too.

But I come with good news! Great news, actually. My exam has been moved forward to October! Oo, oo! Should I add a dancing gif? I'm doing it, I'm adding a dancing gif...

It has been slow, but honestly, like all of my friends have been saying, it'll all be worth it in the end. I'm hanging on to the HUGE feeling of accomplishment I'll have once I've passed. If Amsterdam was on my Travel Bucket List (see post), driving a manual car is on my Life Bucket List.

The truth is, this snail pace feeling isn't just me. My friend sent me this article where it's a national feeling of waiting. That's covid for you. At least that's what my instructor said.

Oh! Cool fact- my instructor said that of the 8 years he's been a driving teacher, I was his second student to upgrade from an automatic license to a manual one. 🤯  Now isn't that kind of cool?

Anyhoo- I'll let you know how I get on in a month. Although, I've paused lessons for a bit, so I don't know what I'll have to say!

Until then!

xoxo
